Terms of Service

1. Who runs this

Dialed In — Pit Notes ("the Service") is operated by Cody Baker ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. What the Service does

The Service lets you log and organize go-kart racing setups, tracks, drivers, and garage inventory (karts, motors, clutches, sprockets, tires, and parts); import and review tachometer/telemetry data; export setup sheets as PDF; and, on eligible plans, use an AI assistant that reads your logged data to answer questions and suggest setup values.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Plans and billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid Standard/Pro subscription tiers, billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide refunds for partial periods.

5. The AI assistant

AI-generated hints and suggestions (gearing, tire pressure, wing settings, and similar) are generated from the data you've logged and are provided as a starting point only — they are not verified, are not a substitute for your own judgment or a qualified mechanic, and we make no guarantee they are correct, safe, or suited to your kart, track, or conditions. You're solely responsible for verifying any setup before running it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to violate anyone else's rights
• Attempt to bypass account tier limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the Service
• Upload malicious files or content you don't have the right to upload

7. Your content

You own the setup data, notes, and files you upload. You grant us a license to store and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service (including sending relevant portions to our AI provider when you use AI features, as described in the Privacy Policy).

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If we terminate your account other than for a violation, we'll refund any unused prepaid balance.

9. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data (including AI-generated suggestions) is accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including damage to your kart or equipment from a setup you applied.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above when we do; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
